Deya Neya 1963

Deya Neya is a 1963 Indian Bengali costume drama, comedy, family, romance film released on Oct 24, 1963. The film is directed by Sunil Bandyopadhyay, produced by Shyamal Mitra.

The films starts by showing that Prasonta Kr. Roy, son of B.K. Roy have got a passion for music, but his interest was opposed by his father who stated that singing is for lower class people. Due to his father's pressure, he fled from his home to Kolkata and stayed at his friend's Asim Chatterjee's house. There, after meeting Amar Dulal and his nephew Suchavita, he took a job as a driver in Sucharita's house, changing its name to Hriday Havan. During his past time. Prasantai used to sing in vedio ? again changing his name to Avijit Chowdhury. Slowly he became a singing sensation among everyone, especially Suchavita who started loving him secretly. Life was going well for Prasanta until one day Susanta, his friend who used to write songs for him came seriously for money. For the sake of this friend, Prasanta decided to come infront of the audidence and sing for which people waited. During the function, Suchavita got stunned on seeing his driver. As Avijit singing ? as well as father came to know about this function and he, including all, get mesmerized by the ultimate song. Sucharita accepted him.His father was proud of Prasanta's performance and allowed him to sing in future. The film ended in a happy note.
