The film is based on the biopic life of Dr Prakash Baba Amte. He is the son of famous social worker Baba Amte, and his wife Mandakini Amte. The story starts with a man who is an outstanding example to the outside world. This man has contributed immensely to this society and this world. It teaches the actual epitome of how humanity can help in developing a society who is backward. After the completion of his medical degree, Dr. Prakash Amte goes to the village Hemalkasa. But, this visit turns out to be the ultimate turning point of his life. He sees that how people had been living there. He realizes that how people used to hunt animals and live under the trees. Now, Prakash decides to change the way of his living and get settle in the same village. In this journey, his fiancée Mandakini also accompanies him. She is actually a doctor and gets married to him.
