Game for Japanese manga on the big screen? For all the little boys out there, this one's just another of those adventure stories, featuring a teen hero who, like the Kung Fu Panda, must find his true potential. Only then will he be able to save the world from Lord Piccolo, a megalomaniac who dreams of global destruction. As the movie approaches its climax, there is a scene in which the good guys prepare for the final fight with the baddie, Lord Piccolo (James Marsters). In what resembles a Tibetan monastery with monks in deep meditation sits the head monk, a large Afro-American with a white beard and monk-robes, and Master Roshi (Chow Yun Fat) chanting Om Namah Shivaya. Once they prepare a magical bowl in which to trap Lord Piccolo, Master Roshi raises one hand and bows to the head monk to say thanks and bye.Read full review1.0

Based on an old Japanese folk tale, the movie is the story of Goku (Justin Chatwin) who stays with his grandfather who gifts him a dragon ball on his 18th birthday. Now he's set on a mission to find the other balls and along the way also defeat the evil Piccolo (James Marsters) who wants to rule over the world with his bad powers.
