Haranidhi 1937

Haranidhi is a 1937 Indian Bengali drama film released on 1937. The film is directed by Tinkari Chakraborty.

Harish and Mohini were friends but they were opposite in nature. Harish was homely, of good nature and God fearing, where as Mohini was characterless, indulged in debauchery. Though Harish helped Mohini in her bad days, Mohini forgot every thing. She took away Harish's house. Harish tried to shoot Mohini while leaving the house. He was about to be caught by the police constable, but he managed to be free. Sushila, Harish's daughter, was married to Aghore. Aghore was trapped by Mohini in a wicked act. Accidentally Aghore met Harish's brother Naba. Naba and Aghore both decided to ruin Mohini. They met Kadambini, who was also harmed by Mohini. Mohini tried to harm Sushila, but Naba, Aghore and Kadambini spoilt her all plans.They bought the house which was once taken by Mohini. Sushila got back to their old house.Suddenly appeared Mohini's wife Kamala and daughter Hemangini. Watching Mohini in a company of goons, Hemangini fainted. Doctor Dharani informed Harish about the condition of Hemangini. Hairsh immediately went to Mohini's house with his sister and mother and cured Hemangini. Watching Harish's nobility, Mohini became repentant and he apologised to Harish. Aghore also returned back to Sushila.
