Intouchables is a 2012 Hollywood comedy,drama film released on Jul 13, 2012. The film is directed by Olivier Nakache, produced by Nicolas Duval-Adassovsky under banner named Quad Productions, music composed by Ludovico Einaudi.

The movie relates the development of the improbable friendship between Philippe, a wealthy tetraplegic, and Driss, a young and poor man from the ghettos, who is hired as his live-in carer.The story of their friendship is told in flashback.

Driss is driving Phillipe's Maserati through the streets of Paris at night, with Phillipe in the passenger seat. The car is speeding and the police begin a chase. They are caught and Driss claims to the police that he is trying to get urgent medical attention for Phillipe. Phillipe pretends he has had as stroke. The police then escort them to hospital. When the police leave, they drive off.

Phillipe is a rich quadriplegic living in a mansion in Paris. He is interviewing for a live-in carer. Driss is just looking to get a signature to show he has been looking for work. Driss, however, is given the job for a trial period. Phillip learns of his criminal record for robbery. But, he states that he doesn't care as long as he does his job properly.

As time passes, the two develop a friendship. Phillipe reveals to Driss that he became paralysed after a paragliding accident. His wife died and they were childless. So he adopted a daughter, who behaves in a spoiled manner. Driss persuades Phillip to begin being strict with her.
