Naajayaz 1995

Naajayaz is a 1995 Indian Bollywood drama, action, family drama film released on Mar 17, 1995. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Mukesh Bhatt.

Inspector Jai (played by Ajay Devgan) is an upright & bold cop who is given the job to take down the criminal empire of Raj Solanki (played by Naseeruddin Shah). Sandhya (played by Juhi Chawla) is sub­ with Jai. She also seems to be his lady love, start taking down Raj's property with gusto. But Raj's cronies & subordinators are not the only ones to be upset by this.

On other left note, Raj has troubles of his own. He does not want his boy (played by Deepak Tijori) to turn a criminal like him. On the other end, Raj is also mindful of discontent of his minion (played by Gulshan Grover), who wants to start many evil activities which even Raj won't do. Raj accompanies to stop Jai without applying pressure or brutality, only to meet Jai's mom (played by Reema Lagoo) & realize that Jai is his illegal son. Now Raj finds himself in a real spot.

Jai's mom too does not like Jai trying to take down Raj, but Jai is firm. After some span, even Jai comes to know about his bonding with Raj, but keeps continuing his job. Raj's illegal son & his stooge try to take down. Jai is alone, without knowing the truth. How the story lasts forms the plot of this film.
