Anna Faris seems to have a natural flair for comedy and fits into the shoes of a rom-com actor, almost perfectly. Her sundry musings on her sex life and her future prospects make for some amusing moments, as do her attempts to ferret out all her old boyfriends so that she can settle down with one of them, without having to cross the dreaded figure of 20. Freaked out by a study in a glossy magazine that claims women who've slept with more than 20 partners are unlikely to ever get married, Ally (Anna Faris) decides to track down her 20 former lovers and settle down with whichever one has best husband potential. For this mission, she enlists the help of her hunky, horn-dog neighbor Colin (Captain America's Chris Evans) – and it's hardly a spoiler if I were to tell you that after a string of embarrassing encounters

This film is a perfect example of a rubber-band idea, stretched to the limits and christened a female-centric rom-com. What's Your Number draws its premise from a frivolous magazine article that says 96% of women who have slept with 20 or more men don't end up getting married. Obviously freaked out by the revelation, Ally Darling (Anna, in various states of undress but endearingly adorable) sets on a mission to track down her 19 exes in the hope that one of them

Someone needs to get Hollywood to stop making these cookie-cutter sex comedies with obligatory 'aww' endings. While they're at it, perhaps they could have a word with Anna Faris and get her to fire her agent. Faris is one of the finest comic actresses of this generation (she was arguably the best until a certain Emma Stone came along and beat her at her own game), which is why it is heartbreaking to see her in a movie as bad as What's Your Number?

What's your number? is just an excuse for the leads Chris Evans and Anna Faris to strip. First Ally (Faris) wakes up in her underwear, then Colin (Evans) is seen with a towel that works as the proverbial fig leaf. At some point, Ally's boss gives us a glimpse of his shapely derriere. Later, Ally and Colin play strip basketball. Then they strip and go skinny dipping in the river. With all this display of er, class, no one seems to have been overly concerned about the script
