kailashmisra, 9 years agoThe story starts with Naina, who is a very shy girl. She lives with her family and she is studying medicine. One day, she meets with Aditi, her school friend in a shopping mall. Aditi is a complete tomboy who knows to live life on her own terms. While having a normal conversation in the shopping mall, Aditi tells Naina that she leaving to Manali for trekking with her school friends, Bunny and Avi. Bunny and Avi both are free-living guys living life on their own terms. Frustrated Naina after seeing the ‘Make my trip’ brochure decides to flee with these guys. The next day, she meets with Bunny who takes her to Manali. In this journey, she experiences how her life differs from the others. Aditi, Avi and Bunny make her to experience the ‘not so experienced world’ and in the end, you see complete transferred Naina, who now learns to enjoy her life. This Manali journey, brings Naina and Bunny close and while Naina is about to confess her feelings to Bunny, she comes to know that Bunny has received scholarship for his further education. Moreover, things end on torn up parts. Now, there is an 8 years leap in the film, when Naina is sitting and cherishing her tour days with these guys. All her friends are leaving their lives. Suddenly, the film focuses on Aditi’s wedding. Aditi sends the wedding invitation to Bunny and even Bunny decides to return India. Aditi is getting married to an NRI guy and her wedding is a destination wedding in Jaipur. Wedding events start and there is a cocktail party. The party marks the entry of her best friend, Bunny. Bunny after meeting Naina after 8 years, fall in love with her again and the duo spend some quality time in Jaipur. It is after this, the duo decide to fall in love with each other again. After Naina comes to know about Bunny’s feelings for her decides not to go with him as he is about to leave India after Aditi’s wedding. After Aditi’s wedding, Bunny decides to leave India and Naina is heartbroken. But somewhere his own lost world takes him back to his place and he decides to celebrate New Year with Naina in her place. Naina is shocked to see him and she asks him the reason why he missed his flight. Then Bunny sets a marriage proposal for Naina and even she agrees. The film ends on a very happy note with all four friends living happily. This is one of the most special films made by Ayan Mukherjee. The film has a good synchronization of emotions flowing correctly. There is so much in one sack that we can carry home. There is fun, enjoyment, trekking, love, friendship, feelings and many more. The film’s stronger points are the location, which have been shown. The film has Manali and Jaipur, which is so beautiful to see on the theatre and television screens. There are many famous taglines and narrations of Ranbir Kapoor. -
