She was born on 21 August 1978. She made her Telugu entry with the film Yuvakudu. She after this did around 30 movies. Her roles in the movies like: Kushi, Okkadu (2003), Tere Naam, Missamma, Gandhi, My Father and Anasuya. She was born to a Punjabi family. She completed her schooling in Delhi.
