He did movies such as Shehnai, Aasra(1964), Mere Sanam (1965), Night in London, April Fool (1964), Yeh Raat Phir Naa Aaygi (1966), Do Kaliyan (1968), Kismat (1968), Ishq Par Zor Nahin and Sharaarat (1972). He had worked with the famous actors such as Mumtaz, Waheeda Rehmaan, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Rekha, Mala Sinha, Asha Parekh, and Rajshree.
