Tamanna 1997

Tamanna is a 1997 Indian Bollywood biopic film released on Mar 07, 1997. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Pooja Bhatt.

The movie starts from the year 1975. The area is Mahim, Bombay. This is the telltale of Tikku (played by Paresh Rawal), a eunuch the only child of yesteryear Bollywood artist Nazneen Begum. She has fallen upon difficult times, is virtually strapped and is dependent on Tikku, whose profession is that of make­up/hair­dressing of Bollywood actresses. When, he dies, Tikku is beside himself with pain. After the funeral ceremony, he witnesses a lady leaving a child in a garbage bin. Tikku picks up the doll, longing for human courtesy, decides to keep her with him and names her Tamanna, and treats her up on his own with the help of a close buddy named Saleem (played by Manoj Bajpai). When she is young enough, he admits her education in St. Mary's High School's hostel. When she finishes her school, she returns home to find Tikku in the pose of a hijra and shuns him, but subsequently slacken. Then Tikku finds out that Tamanna (played by Pooja Bhatt) is the girl of Ranvir Chopra, an up­and­coming political leader. He confesses her, and she goes to their house.
