An Evening In Paris is a 1967 Indian Bollywood action film released on 1967. The film is directed by Shakti Samanta, produced by Shakti Samanta under banner named Shakti Films.

Shyam and Roopa are in love. Roopa is abducted and held by a criminal Jack. Jack in order to earn money sends Roopa's look-alike Suzy to ensure that the money is received, while the real Roopa is still being held captive by him.

A girl named Deepa (Sharmila Tagore) goes to Paris to search of true love. There she meets Sam (Shamuri Kapoor) & both fall in love. Meanwhile her father's secretary's son (Pran) is in a gambling debt and wants money. Otherwise her boss will harm him. So he loves Deepa, to get the money & wants to marry her. But she refuses him and this infuriates him. At his boss's Casino, he sees a girl looking pretty like Deepa, Suzy, who happens to be Deepa long lost twin sister, Rupa. He kidnaps the real Deepa & puts Suzy in her place. But Sam finds the truth. He calls the father. She is a casino Dancer. Both find it hard to accept each other. She gets angry and does not tell where Deepa is. Sam begs her and says that she will tell Deepa's whereabouts only if he marries gunuine lovers. Meanwhile, Shekhar's boss has asked Ransom money for the real Deepa! Both Sam & Suzy go for it Suzy switching places with Deepa. The real Deepa escapes. Sam arrives there and enters inti a fight with Jack, the gangster. Jack shoots the real Suzy, pretending to be Deepa. Suzy tells Sam that shes really Suzy & that Deepa has escaped. Sam runs away but tells Makhan Singh (the driver friend) to help Suzy and finds Deepa & both run away. Suzy is taken to the hospital & survives. Super music with catchy songs!

In romantic Paris, two Parisians of Indian origin are in love namely Shyam or Sam and Roopa. Mystery and intrigue surround this romance, as Roopa is abducted and held by criminal mastermind Jack and his minions, who will trade her fora hefty ransom. Roopa has a look- alike in the shape and form of Suzy, who is sent in place of Roopa to ensure that the money is received, while the real Roopa is still being held captive. Sam must use all the resources available to in order to set Roopa free, but he will have a difficult time to differentiate between Suzy and Roopa.

Twice - cheated Deepa has come to the conclusion that all Indian boys are only after her immense wealth and so, she leaves for the most romantic city in the world, Paris, in the quest of true love. In Paris she meets Shyam who introduces himself as a Frenchman. Assuming that all Frenchman are flirts, Deepa keeps him at a distance till he saves her from being molested by Shekhar, her businness managers son. This brigns the two young people together. However, Shekhar still has couple of tricks up his sleeve. He kidnaps Deepa and replace her with a look-alike who works for a nightclub.
